Can Haider Ali become a batting superstar?

Haider Ali has impressed many in Pakistan by his performances in U19 cricket and in domestic. But PSL was the platform when he got all the spotlights on him. A match-winning knock of 67 runs against Lahore Qalandars might be his best innings till yet and also one of the best innings in PSL 2020.

Haider played 9 matches in PSL 2020 and scored 239 runs with an average of almost 30 and most importantly with the strike of 160. playing with this strike rate got all the eyeballs on him.

Pakistan team is in desperate need of a power hitter that can easily score runs with a higher strike rate and finish the game. Seeing him bat with a strike rate of 160 at the end of the innings can prove very useful for the Pakistan team and he might be able to play his debut match very soon.

Ex-Pakistan wicket-keeper Rashid Latif tweeted that Haider Ali might be the next Babar Azam. But adding this much pressure on the young shoulder from the very start could cause damage. We all know Haider is very much capable to become a great batsman but it requires a lot of time and consistent performances.

Many people have started to draw comparison between Babar Azam and Haider Ali cover drives which are very classy. Haider is very stylish batsman and with a good technique.

He has a lot of pressure on his shoulder from the start of his international career because everyone have saw the glimpse of Haider Ali in PSL 2020. And now wants him to be the next batting superstar of Pakistan cricket.

Haider has got all the ability to be the next batting superstar but he has got a huge amount of pressure on him to prove his abilities and perform because he has only played one first-class match and has been selected in the Pakistan squad for England tour because of his performance in PSL 2020. If he takes the pressure well and scores some runs for Pakistan in the English condition than for sure he will be the next batting superstar.
