Qalandars was doing really well in the initial days of the tournament. They have won 3 out of 4 of their initial matches coming second to Karachi Kings. Some crucial players will not be a part of the Lahore Qalandars squad 2021 PSL list anymore.
These players have performed for Qalandars over the years and played a major part in taking their team to the final last year.
David Wiese and Samit Patel are the two main players who will miss the remaining season. This will be a huge blow to Qalandars as they rely on them a lot.
There were a lot of speculations about Rashid Khan that he was only available for the initial matches of the league. The postponement of PSL proved as a blessing in disguise for the Qalandars.
Because now Rashid is fully available for the remaining matches of PSL 2021. This will be an addition to Lahore Qalandars squad 2021 PSL list.
He had a contract in Vitality Blast 2021 but he is willing to miss the first 5 matches of the tournament just to be available and play PSL 2021.
Other withdrawn players are Tom Abell and Joe Denly.
In result of player withdrawing, Qalandars picked by Bangladesh Star All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Unfortunately now he has been picked in the national squad against Sri Lanka. So, he won’t be seen in action.
James Faulkner, Joe Burns, Callum Ferguson, and Seekkuge Prasanna are also added to Lahore Qalandars squad 2021 PSL list.
We all know the ability of James Faulkner and also he has got a lot of experience playing in the BBL. He can provide strength to the team.
Joe Burn and Callum Ferguson also got experience playing in the BBL and can add strength to Qalandars batting order.
