1. James Anderson
James Anderson is the only fast bowler to take 600 test cricket. He is now ranked 8th in the ICC ranking for test bowlers. He currently 38 years young and bowling tremendously. James has played 156 test matches and taken 600 wickets at an average of 26.8.
In 194 ODI matches he played, took 269 matches at an average of 29.22. Some people says that he is only home track bully and performs only in England. But only a bowler of his calibre can take 600 test wickets.
He has taken 5 wicket haul 29 times and 3 times more than 10 wickets in his test match career.

2. Dale Steyn
He might be the most unfortunate bowler in the world right now because his career has been hugely surrounded by injuries. If the injuries hasn’t interfered in his career than he might finish as the best bowlers of this generation.
He has played 93 test matches and took 439 wickets at a phenomenal average of 22.95. In 125 ODI he played, taken 196 wickets at an average of 25.96. He is very unlucky that he gets injured quite alot.
He has taken 5 wicket haul 26 times in his test career and 5 times more than 10 wickets in a test match.
Dale would have taken more wickets than Anderson in less matches if he stayed fit through out his career.
3. Pat Cummins
He is the No.1 bowler in Test cricket right now. Pat has played 30 test matches and has taken 143 wickets at a mindblowing average of 21.83. Its his ability of taking wickets when the team requires the most makes him a special and one of the best bowlers in the world.
Since his debut he has been so consistent with his performance. He doesn’t swing much but his line and lenght is so accurate that he can trouble any batsmen with that and his pace.
In his 66 ODI’s, has taken 107 wickets with an average of 28 and his best bowling figures are 5/70. He is also ranked in the top 5 in the ICC ODI bowlers ranking.
4. Stuart Broad
Stuart Broad recently entered the 500 club in Test cricket. He has become the only 4th fourth fast bowler to claim 500 test wickets. Broad alongside with his fellow team-mate James Anderson has took a total of more than 1000 wickets.
He is ranked currently the 2nd best test bowler in the world. Broad has played 143 tests and claimed 514 wickets with an average of 27.66, slightly higher than the bowlers mentioned above. He has taken 18 five wicket hauls and 3 ten wicket hauls in his test match career.
Like Anderson he is also not part of England white ball team but both of them are doing wonders for England in red ball and making England win matches with their brilliant swing bowling.
5. Trent Boult
Trent Boult is Newzealand premium and best bowler right now. Black caps highly depend on his bowling ability specially with the new ball. He knows who to make the ball move in both directions.
His wicket taking ability in regular succession makes him one of the best bowlers in the world.
Boult has taken 267 wickets in his 67 test matches with an average of 27.66 and his ranked 10th in the ranking. In his 90 ODI matches, Boult has claimed 164 wickets with best figures of 7/34.
6. Jasprit Bumrah
Although Bumrah is very young in his career but his ability to take wickets and concede less runs make him pretty good. After his debut he has completely changed the bowling attitude in the Indian team.
Before him there wern’t that much quality bowlers in India but he just completely changed the coarse of Indian bowling.

He was one of the best bowlers in the recently concluded ICC World Cup 2019. He has shown the world that he is a serious talent and one for the future.
Shaheen has only played 11 test matches and took 35 wickets and average slightly towards higher side. But he is phenomenal in ODI and T20.
In his 19 ODI he has taken 40 wickets with an average of just 21.18 and with best figures of 6/35. Also in 15 T20 in which he played, has taken 18 wickets with a low average of 23.06.

8. Rashid Khan
This bowler is just unbelievable, looking at his stats just blows your mind away. Rashid plays for Afghanistan which is why he will not get too many matches to play and take wickets.
In his small career he has done wonders, he has played 70 ODI matches and claimed 133 wickets with an average of 18.55, which is simply mind blowing.
